1. Definitions
In this agreement, "Stamford Brook Minicabs," "we," or "us" refers to the service provider. "You" and "your" pertain to any individual, business, or entity making a booking with us.
2. Booking
2.1 It is imperative that you allocate sufficient time for your journey to ensure punctuality, especially for airport transfers necessitating adherence to flight check-in times. Stamford Brook Minicabs cannot be held responsible for delays arising from inadequate time allocation or unpreparedness for collection at the designated time.
2.2 You are responsible for selecting a car size suitable for the number of passengers and luggage. We do not guarantee the carriage of excessive luggage. Additionally, please note that irrespective of age, each child will be considered a single passenger.
2.3 Any requirement for wheelchair access should be communicated at the time of booking.
3. Prices & Payment
3.1 Our quotations are based on the information provided by you. Unless otherwise specified, all prices are exclusive of VAT, which will be charged separately if applicable. We reserve the right to adjust the quoted price in the event of significant changes to the itinerary.
3.2 Our quotes include a 45-minute waiting period after the scheduled landing time and cover airport parking fees. Additional waiting time beyond this period will be subject to standard waiting rates. While we endeavor to accommodate flight delays, we are not obligated to do so.
3.3 Upon acceptance of our quote, you will receive a booking confirmation. It is your responsibility to review this confirmation thoroughly for accuracy. Failure to notify us of any discrepancies may result in delays or additional costs for which we shall not be liable.
3.4 Payment for our services can be made in cash, by credit card, or debit card.
4. The Service
4.1 You are accountable for the conduct of all passengers during the journey. Any soiling, damage, or disruption caused by passengers may incur additional charges for cleaning or repairs.
4.2 Eating, drinking, or smoking is strictly prohibited in the vehicle.
4.3 Children must be appropriately restrained according to their age, height, and weight.
4.4 We are bound by licensing and insurance regulations regarding passenger capacity and cannot exceed the stipulated limit.
5. Cancellations
5.1 If you need to cancel your booking, please notify us at the earliest opportunity. Cancellations made after dispatch may incur charges based on the distance covered by the driver up to the point of cancellation.
5.2 Cancellation of bookings made through our online system before dispatch may be subject to a charge deducted from the original payment.
6. Liability
6.1 While we strive to ensure timely arrival at your destination, we shall not be liable for losses resulting from delays beyond our control. Under no circumstances will we be liable for any losses incurred by you or your business.
6.2 You assume responsibility for your luggage during transit.
6.3 In the event of a breakdown, we will endeavor to arrange alternative transportation to minimize disruption to your journey.
6.4 You agree not to hold Stamford Brook Minicabs liable for any expenses, damages, or losses arising from acts or omissions by any member of your party.
6.5 No party shall exclude or limit liability for personal injury, death, negligence, fraudulent misrepresentation, or willful default, as prohibited by applicable laws.
7. Termination
7.1 We reserve the right to terminate or refuse a booking immediately if the safety of our vehicle or driver is compromised due to misconduct or damage caused by you or any passenger. No refunds will be provided for terminated journeys.
8. Miscellaneous
8.1 Stamford Brook Minicabs may subcontract its obligations under this agreement. You may not assign or transfer any rights or obligations without our consent.
8.2 We reserve the right to amend these terms and conditions, with any changes being effective upon publication on our website. Existing bookings will be honored at the rates applicable at the time of booking.
8.3 We handle information following the Data Protection Act of 1988.
8.4 This agreement constitutes the entire agreement between Stamford Brook Minicabs and yourself.
8.5 These terms and conditions do not benefit third parties unless otherwise agreed upon in writing.
9. Disputes
Any disputes or claims must be lodged within 30 days of the booking pickup date. Claims made beyond this timeframe may not be entertained by Stamford Brook Minicabs.
